Intent to Sole Source Hydraulic Power Unit-Parts

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT.

The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS and IMF) Contracting Department (Code 400), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed service contract ILLINOIS TOOL WORKS INC- EH WACHS DIVISION, 600 Knightsbridge Pkwy, Lincolnshire Illinois 60069-3617. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13.106((b)(1)(i).

The estimated delivery date is 30 October 2024 This requirement is to provide 380-480V Electric Motor Driven Hydraulic Power Units-2 each, Hose Sets-2 each, and Quick Disconnect Fittings-2 each . The NAICS code for this acquisition is 333515 - Cutting Tool and Machine Tool Accessory Manufacturing with a Business Standard of 500 Employees. The Product Service Code for this acquisition is 3455-Cutting Tools for Machine Tools.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; no solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than April 9, 2024, 2:00pm Pacific Standard Time. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with subject line stating - RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR N4523A24Q4035.

A determination to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. PSNS and IMF Contracting will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered.

As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. All documents submitted will not be returned.
