Sole Source: PerkinElmer

Due to Unusual and Compelling Urgency (FAR 6.302-2), Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) has issued a solicitation on sole source basis to PerkinElmer (Cage Code 9GF26) for the purchase of One (1) year GOLD Service Plan with 1 Preventative Maintenance Visit. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES. This notice is not a request for quote/proposal. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This solicitation is for commercial services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to procure these services on an “other than full and open competition” basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-2 based on Unusual and Compelling Urgency. The signed Sole Source Justification is attached to this notice, in accordance with FAR 6.302-2.

The services being procured are restricted to the approved source. The period of performance will not exceed one (1) year. This procurement will result in a firm fixed price contract.

Solicitation Response Deadline: 12/13/2024 North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 811210. Size standard is $34 Million.
