PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) is issuing this Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. There is no solicitation available at this time. Again, this is not a request for quotes or proposals. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may submit a capability statement.

All capability statements received will be evaluated to determine merit. Responses must be submitted in writing no later than 4 September 2024 by 4:30pm EST. A determination by the Government to not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310, Shipbuilding and Repair with a size standard of $12,500,000.00. The PSC is J043. The Government anticipates using a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract for the supply/service if contracted.

INFORMATION REQUESTED FROM INDUSTRY: If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: Organization name, address, email address, web site address, telephone number, CAGE code, DUNS number, point of contact (name, phone# and e-mail); your company's business size type/status. Detailed information that describes your company's capability to satisfy the requirement.

Additionally, if significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. A Work to be Accomplished for the work Norfolk Naval Shipyard is interested in contracting out is attached. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement herein may submit a capabilities statement.
