Design Build – Replace Surfaces at Nimitz Field and NAPS McCool Track, NAVAL STATION NEWPORT, NEWPORT, RI

The work includes (1) replacing the artificial turf system on the Nimitz athletic field, and (2) replacing the surface on the McCool running track, and other track and field areas within the work area. Additionally, work includes (3) the removal of an abandoned manhole, (4) an option to extend the work area to install artificial turf in the north and south semicircular areas, and (5) an option to provide an electrical power supply to the press box. Note that LID as required must be incorporated into the project.
