THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE GOVERNMENT WILL USE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS.
The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to collect information of qualified contractors as part of a market research conducted by NAVFAC Far East FEAD Okinawa for Facilities Support Contract to Repair the MUNS Clemco Sandblaster Booth at Bldg.46707, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan The Government invites contractors with the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements to submit Capability Statements consisting of appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references.
The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a proposal, but rather short statements regarding the company’s ability to demonstrate existing-or-developed expertise and experience in relation to the areas specified herein. Repair and Maintenance Work Requirements: Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment to replace defective parts and materials found during repairs. Contractor shall perform a comprehensive inspection to determine the extent of repairs required. A partial list of defective materials is included below but may not be a complete list. Contractor shall operationally check the sandblaster booth after repairs are made and ensure the system is fully operational.

Filter inline, ¼"OD Tube, Clemco 14. Filter Cartridge, BNP< Clemco, 13" x 36" (Long), QC w ¾" Flange; Fits RPH-3L Dust Collectors 15. Piston and Rod Assembly, for Clemco 1" Outlet Valve 1 each Work Location: MUNS Building 46707, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan Estimated Period of Performance: All work shall be completed within 90 days after award. All interested sources, at a minimum, are requested to please submit the following:

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Indicate your experience in providing services for the requirement stated above.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: Indicate any applicable local/and or industry certification your company or employee possess relevant to this procurement, as well as proof that your company is authorized to do business in Japan. Interested firms may submit information using the form provided under separate file titled “Attachment (1) Sources Sought – Contractor Info Form” to demonstrate capabilities, capacity, and experience.
Notifications of interest must be submitted in writing via email; phone calls will not be accepted. Interested parties should respond by 10:00 AM (Japan Standard Time) on 15 March 2024, via email to berchan.a.torrejon.civ@us.navy.mil and yukiko.shimabukuro3.ln@us.navy.mil. The subject line of the email shall read: “Repair the MUNS Clemco Sandblaster Booth”. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a Request For Quote (RFQ) package or solicitation.
In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this notice, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made.
