This is a Sources Sought notice only. This is not a request for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this notice.

The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) is issuing this Sources Sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest in and the capabilities and resources to support replacement of nonskid on naval ships and other vessels in the Jacksonville, Florida area under a single Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price contract.

Nonskid replacement will meet the following Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) surface preparation standards: SSPC-SP10/National Association of Corrosion Engineers International (NACE) 2, Near-White Blast Cleaning; SSPC-SP 11, Power Tool Cleaning to Bare Metal; and SSPC-SP12 WJ-3/NACE 5, Surface Preparation and Cleaning of Steel and other Hard Materials by High and Ultra High Pressure Water Jetting Prior to Recoating Nonskid application will be either MIL-PRF-24667 Type I or Type V roll-on nonskid, Type IV spray on nonskid, or Type XI peel and stick sections.

Interested vendors are requested to submit a capabilities statement with the following information electronically, limited to 5 pages, by the response date: - Company name, physical address, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code - Company contact name, email address, and telephone number - Business size under NAICS 336611, including applicable socioeconomic categories - Narrative of technical ability, including ability to perform and manage work under a single IDIQ contract - Past performance demonstrating marine nonskid work experience.

Provide contract numbers, contract type, contract amount period of performance, description of work, and customer point of contact. Responses to this notice are not proposals and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract. The Government will not pay for any effort expended or any materials provided in response to this announcement. Responses are strictly voluntary.
