Development of a Transmit Controller System to Support Use of a SURTASS LFA CLTS Single Element Projector

CornerTurn LLC submitted a research proposal for Need Topic #11 (Research that Pertains to the LMR Investment Areas) in response to the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) N3943025S4500. This BAA, seeking research and development proposals, utilizes the source selection procedures dictated at FAR 35.016(e) that: "the primary basis for selecting proposals for acceptance shall be technical, importance to agency programs, and fund availability."

The BAA was advertised for full-and-open competition of research proposals to address the requirement statements, and propsals received in response to the BAA have now been evaluated for selection (Phase I) of those best-qualified for further evaluation. The vendor and contracting office negotiated final pricing via the issuance of a Request for Proposal, N3943026Q5003 (Phase II).
