This is a sources sought notice. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Europe, Africa, Central (EURAFCENT) Facilities Engineering Acquisition Branch (FEAD) Rota, Spain is considering issuing short-term Multiple Award Construction Contracts (MACC) in the event the current solicitation (N3319123R9011) is not awarded before the current MACC contracts expire.
The work to be performed includes sustainment, restoration, and modernization (SRM) projects, alteration, demolition, repair, and new construction or expansion of any type of facilities or real property assets, including waterfront or airfield facilities. Projects will be executed through firm-fixed price (FFP) Design-Bid-Build or Design-Build task orders, or even a combination of both.
Work will primarily be performed at Naval Station Rota, but may also include work at military facilities such as Moron Air Base and the United States National Support Elements and/or North Atlantic Treaty Organization facilities located in Madrid, Spain; Valencia, Spain; and Lisbon, Portugal.
Interested firms should provide a limited capabilities statement that describes the firms experience in performing work that is of a similar size, scope, and magnitude as described in this announcement, and be licensed to perform work in Spain and registered with the Ministry of Defense and hold the necessary certificates of classification to perform multi-discipline (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) projects with a total value of $500,000 to $7,000,000 per project and have current access to Naval Station Rota.
