Rotational Deployment Mechanism (RDM) Refurbishment

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing a request for proposal (RFP) to Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, for a Firm Fixed-Price contract to perform refurbishment services on the rotational deployment mechanism (RDM) unit for a Virginia Class submarine.

In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice, N32253-24-079, was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), SAM.gov, from 1 AUG 2024 to 7 AUG 2024, to satisfy this requirement. The Government received no capable sources indicating capability in performing the requirement by the posted due date. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 Ship Building and Repair with a size standard of 1,300 employees. The Product Service Code is J020 Maintenance, Repair, Rebuilding of Equipment-Ship and Marine Equipment. Please note the following:

52.204-24: Section (d)(1) and (d)(2) of this provision must be filled out by the Offeror.

52.204-26: Section (c)(1) and (c)(2) of this provision but be filled out by the Offeror. All Solicitation amendments must be acknowledged in offeror submission. All questions regarding the solicitation shall be submitted in writing via email to the listed Point of Contacts. The solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 15, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice.

In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and the provision set forth in FAR 52.204-7 of this solicitation, all firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) by the offer submission date.
