2. Contract Structure and Value

The Government intends to award an Indefinite-Delivery Requirements contract incorporating Firm-Fixed-Price provisions. This structure provides the necessary flexibility for the Government to order services as needed while fixing the price per unit of service for the contractor. Period of Performance is structured to include a one-year base period commencing on January 1, 2027, and concluding on December 31, 2027. Furthermore, the contract includes provisions for four subsequent one-year option periods. If all options are exercised, the contract will extend through December 31, 2031, providing a potential five-year continuous service period.

3. Description of Services

The successful contractor shall be strictly required to provide all necessary personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, and materials to perform packing, containerization, and local drayage services. The scope of work encompasses a comprehensive range of logistics and moving services, including outbound, inbound, and intra-city shipments, as well as necessary storage solutions. The contractor must ensure that all services are performed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with DoD transportation and handling regulations to facilitate the seamless relocation of military and civilian personnel.
