MJ21, CCU-92/A Electrical Cartridge

This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price delivery order to Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company (CAGE:

96336, UEI: JU3GGVGN9ML8) for the acquisition of the MJ21, CCU-92/A Electrical Cartridges: standard load, overloaded and underloaded. The estimated award date is 30 October 2026. The estimated period of performance is 360 days after date of contract (ADC).

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.Additionally, this contract action will be awarded as an order under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA N0017426G1004) between the Government and Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense.Purpose of this Notice: This BOA Order is being pursued on a sole source basis under authority of 10 U.S.C.

3204(a)(1) as is implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company is the only known, qualified responsible source that has the ability and resources necessary to fulfill the requirements herein. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above.
