Bldg. 894 - Create Bldg. Security Boundary

Amendment 0005 is issued to incorporate wage determination 20240109 Mod 1 dated 12 July 2024. The proposal due date is revised to 9 August 2024 at 2 PM PST. The amendment also changes Block 11 to reflect the performance start of 10 days after receiving the notice to proceed.

Amendment 0004 Provides responses to PPI resulting from amendment P0003. This amendment also corrects the proposal due time to remove ambiguity.

Amendment 0002 Provides responses for Pre Proposal Inquiries (PPI)

Amendment 0001 updates the Statement of Work to remove new compressed gas bottle racks and return lines requirment and expands the secure boundary to the outer wall reduceing number of secure doors to be added. This solicitation is to acquire contruction services to upgrade building 894 to create a secure building boundary for the new use of the building.

The project will require the contractor to provide security upgrades including adding security bars to duct work, door removal and wall infill, capping tube skylights and other upgrades such as welding door hinge pins, adding security locks, badge readers, and astragals to enhance door security. In addition, the scope also includes installing emergency eyewash stations..

The Government anticipates awarding a single firm fixed price construction type contract under FAR Parts 15 and 36.This solicitation is a 100% set aside for small businesses. An organized site visit is planned and a JCP account is required for controlled distribution documents.
