Bldg 1006 Ladder Safety System

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, intends to issue a solicitation for the installation of a Ladder Safety system in building 1006, room 104. The ladder is approximately 24 feet tall, and needs a ladder climbing device installed. The project will require the contractor to provide and install this device per manufacturer’s instruction, and provide engineering design.

The Contractor shall provide labor, materials, and equipment, as required, to accomplish the following work in accordance with the statements herein: The Contractor shall affix vertical ladder safety system to 24 foot ladder, inside room 104. The Contractor shall provide 2 compatible detachable cable travelers. The Government anticipates awarding a single firm fixed price service type contract. The solicitation number for this requirement is N0025324Q0020.

One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. Performance location will be Keyport, WA. The target award date is, Tuesday, April 19, 2024. The NAICS code is 236220, with a Small Business Size Standard of $45 Million. The Product Service Code is Z2GZ. This solicitation will be 100% set aside for small businesses.

The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 15, utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation factors. The Government anticipates issuing the solicitation on or about Monday, JMarch 20, 2024 with a 30-day response time. The contracting office is not maintaining a bidders list. Failure to respond to the electronically posted solicitation and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render the offer non-responsive and result in rejection.
