FORKLIFT RENTALS

STATEMENT OF WORK Description: USS CARL VINSON requests forklifts rental and propane bottles to facilitate the operation of Beach Detachment receiving, delivering, and offloading materiel. Additionally, required for operating Carrier Onboard Deliveries and setting up port calls.

General Information: Current contract expired on 06 August 2024. As a result of the expiration the Carl Vinson will have to go month to month until a new contract is awarded. The beach detachment requires forklifts to perform daily requirements such as receiving palletized material, loading up palletized material, repalletizing, sorting and delivering palletized material onto trucks and trailers that is received from vendors and the supply system to the pier where USS Carl Vinson is moored. Our beach det team allows us to be mission ready since they are critical to all material being brought on and off the ship.

Requirements: Four 5K forklift with 42” forks, one 5K forklift with 54” forks, one 20K forklift with standard size forks. Additionally, requesting 10 bottles of propane tanks delivered every Monday between the hours of 7am-2pm.
