NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego intends to award a sole source contract to TRONAIR, INC. to provide the following parts for Aircraft Utility Crane Part Number 9319-010 which belongs to USS Makin Island. - 9319-15 BASE WELD - 9319-32 PIN, MAST PIVOT This Base Weldment and Mast Pivot assembly is part of the Aircraft Utility Crane P/N 9319-010 CRANE. TRONAIR is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for this crane.

The schematics and drawing are proprietary and only TRONAIR Inc can provide these items. This crane is designed to lift aircraft wings, canopy and ejection seats without a need for spotting the aircraft underneath overhead hoist up to a load of 1,500 lbs. Replacement item for a base weldment and mast pivot assembly is an exact item. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming.

Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 17 May 2024. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.

NOTE 22: The proposed contract action is to provide the following parts for Aircraft Utility Crane Part Number 9319-010 which belongs to USS Makin Island. - 9319-15 BASE WELD - 9319-32 PIN, MAST PIVOT This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closed date specified herein will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
