This is a sources sought synopsis to determine the availability of potential sources capable of providing continuous education and training for the Department of Navy (DON) - Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (OASN, Financial Management and Comptroller (FM and C) workforce.
Professional Development Institute (PDI) is only hosted by ASMC, which is a non-profit educational and professional organization for military and civilians within military comptrollership, defined as professions of financial management in the Department of Defense and U.S. Coast Guard. This is the only conference offered to the financial management community that specifically targets training applicable to the DFMCP.
This requirement has historically been sole sourced to American Society of Military Comptroller (ASMC). Most recently under contract N0018923PZ061. ASMC is currently the only known company who can provide this specific DoD Comptroller training.
The anticipated period of performance for this Firm Fixed Price contract is 01 March 2024 through 01 February 2025. The North American Industry Classification (NACIS) code for this is 611430. Interested offerors possessing the ability to provide PDI comptroller training are invited to respond to this source-sought synopsis by providing their capability information via the submission of an executive summary, no more than one (1) page in length.
The submission shall include the following information: (1) company name, address, point of contract with corresponding phone number and email address; and business size; and (2) relevant conference information. All submissions are required to be submitted via email to Allison.m.Miller38.civ@us.navy.mil. No later than 12:00 P.M. (local time/ Philadelphia, PA) on 11 January 2024.
