J042 - NSSF YTD Bypass Switch Repair Service

The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department Groton Office, Groton, CT intends to award a Sole Source Purchase Order to Connecticut Fire Equipment, Inc. for Bypass Switch Troubleshoot and Repair Services for (Qty 2) YTD Stand-Alone Fire Suppression Systems. The Estimated Period of Performance is (5) Days ADC with a Service Completion As Soon As Possible.

The service shall include replacement parts, material, labor, and recertification aboard Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT 06349. This purchase will procured using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13 and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 08 July 2024. This notice is not a request for proposals or quotations.

However, any challenges to this sole source must be received in writing and sent to sharon.dexter@navy.mil to be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete this requirement. Challenges must include information sufficient to enable the Government to decide that an equivalent supply/service exists that would meet the Governments needs as stated herein. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
