USNA Bettercloud Subscription

The Enterprise Services Department at the United States Naval Academy is responsible for managing and providing licensed software solutions to facilitate the success of faculty and midshipmen. USNA is procuring the renewal of their Bettercloud Subscription. BetterCloud provides a software-as-a-services solution that can detect, alert and remediate policy violations as it relates to Data Loss Prevention (DLP) for data stored in the Google workspace environment at USNA.

The required BetterCloud Enterprise is specific to one manufacturer that is required by the United States Naval Academy (USNA) Information Technology Services Division (ITSD).

BetterCloud is the only product that seamlessly integrates with the USNA’s existing G Suite platform, providing Data Leakage Prevention monitoring, control, and reporting while simultaneously providing system administration functions through the use of Google Application Interfaces (API’s) The BetterCloud licenses are tied into configurations for the Naval Academy’s Google Workspace accounts.

Both Google Workspace and Bettercloud are tied together via customized configurations and the same vendor needs to be delivering both products. Currently The Daston corporation provides those Services
