CKU-5 Tubes Synopsis

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Contracts Department, Code 02 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Supply contract to manufacture CKU-5 Tubes hardware for assembly in fleet-deliverable Aviation Critical Safety Items (ACSIs). The contract will consist of a Base Year and two (2) 12-month options, to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The Government will require the following:

The Contractor shall fabricate, inspect, test, and deliver components in accordance with the applicable Department of Defense Drawings and specifications included below in Table 1.0. Components shall be packaged by part number and ready for use. The Contractor shall provide, design, and fabricate all necessary tooling to manufacture and dimensionally inspect the components, and provide data. Award is expected to be made in the 1st Quarter of FY25, with deliveries and quantities specified in Table 2.0. Place of performance is at contractor site. Delivery destination is:

The method of Source Selection will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).

The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be posted on the System for Award Management (SAM) database via the website https://sam.gov/content/home with a projected release of FY24 Quarter 3. Failure to register in SAM makes an offeror ineligible for award of DoD contracts.
