Scales Preventive Maintenance - Solicitation

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), intends to award a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract on a competitive basis to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable for routine preventive maintenance, calibration & repair services on each scale listed in the attached schedule. These efforts shall be coordinated with all production areas to minimize equipment downtime and to ensure Contractor safety.

The Contractor shall provide required annual, semi-annual, quarterly and monthly scale calibration based on the scale requirement. The resultant contract will be a service type contract, with a base period of one (1) year and two (4) option years.

The Government anticipates an award date in FY25 Quarter 1. The proposed contract action is for a service, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with full and open competition under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.401(a)(2), "The award will be made on the basis of price and other price-related factors." Vendors who feel capable of providing the services referenced above shall fully identify their capabilities to provide the stated hardware. The solicitation number must be in all notice responses.
