Metal Parts (Multiple) & MK 14 Tanks

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division - Picatinny Detachment (NSWC IHD), will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking potential Offerors for the production of Metal Parts.

This effort will be a total Small Business Set Aside utilizing NAICS Code 332999. The contractor will manufacture the following metal parts: Mk16 and Mk11 Pallet Adapters, Dummy Nose Plugs, Fuze Adapters, Lid, Mk4 MOD 0 Fuze Protector Cap, Mk3 MOD 0 and Mk12 MOD 1 Pallets, and Mk14 MOD 4 5” 54 Cartridge Tank Assembly) for use in the manufacture, assembly, packaging and shipping of All Up Round 5” Projectiles (AUR) and 5” Propelling Charges. The upcoming solicitation number will be N00174-24-R-0002.

All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government intends to award a single five-year, Firm-Fixed price, Indefinite delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to the responsible Offeror whose proposal represents the Best Value to the Government. With a ceiling value of $30M. Best value will be determined based on an integrated assessment of the evaluation factors for award utilizing a Trade-Off process.

The following factors will be used to evaluate the offers: Technical, which will include three (3) SUB-FACTORS – Production and Manufacturing; Quality System and Controls; Management and Schedule, Past Performance and Price.

Any resultant contract will be DO Rated under the Defense Priorities and Allocations system (DPAS).
