Michael Broomfield Description: This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to issue a modification to a previously awarded sole source Purchase Order (N00173-24-P-2004) to LOCKHEED MARTIN AUSTRALIA PTY LIMITED Barton, Australia to provide2 X RF Switch boxes (one for each High Power Amplifier Shelter that NRL owns). Each Switch Box will contain 4 X RF Switches. The proposed Purchase Order is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.501.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed Purchase Order modification based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
