Noise & Vibration Transducer

THIS SOURCES SOUGHT is being issued by the Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD). NSWCCD is seeking potential sources to provide Noise & Vibration Transducer for measuring structural vibrations, bearing vibration and grease noise. NSWCCD intends to issue a solicitation/synopsis in the upcoming months to meet mission requirements. Prior to issuing a solicitation/synopsis, NSWCCD is requesting information only in determining the interest in submitting quotes on this proposed solicitation/synopsis in order to make an informed determination regarding procurement strategy. A copy of the DRAFT Specifications is attached.

SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES: Responses shall include brief information regarding the appropriate set-aside category and the ability to provide the required products/services to meet the Government's needs and how the company will meet the minimum requirements. Responses shall reference “N00167-24-SIMACQ-CD-61-0164” in the subject of the email. Responses shall include detailed information demonstrating the ability to meet the attached specifications. A cover page for the response shall be included.

The cover page, at a minimum, shall include the company name, address, points of contact (name(s), e-mail address (es), and telephone number(s)), Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number, SAM UEI, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, and business size status for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334419. The cover page should also include the specified, set-aside category. NSWCCD will accept only electronic submission of responses.

Responses shall be sent to Barbaraann Witz via e-mail at barbaraann.k.witz.civ@us.navy.mil. All responses shall be submitted no later than 12:00 pm on 22 August 2024. This is a request for information only and is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ) or announcement of a solicitation and does NOT constitute a RFQ. This notice shall not be construed as a contract, a promise to contract, or as a commitment of any kind by the Government.

This Sources Sought request is issued solely for conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 and gathering information for planning purposes. The Government WILL NOT PAY for any information received in response to this request for information, and the Government will not compensate the respondent for any cost incurred in developing the response to this Sources Sought Request.
