N00164-25-Q-0552 –MILPOWER SOURCE INTERNAL ENCAPSULATED SEALED MAINTENANCE FREE LEAD ACID UNINTERUPTABLE POWER SUPPLY (UPS) BATTERY PACKS – FSG 6140 - NAICS 335910 ISSUE DATE 12 March 2025 – CLOSING DATE 19 March 2025 – 04:00 PM Eastern Time Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for 14 UPS battery packs.

Brand Name only for Milpower Source, 7 Field Lane, Belmount, NH 03220-4621, under the authority of FAR 13. This is being sole sourced because the Government requires the same batteries to fit into the common cabinet of the UPS unit. This battery was designed specifically to fit this UPS and there are no other qualified sources for this specific battery.

Milpower Source is the only contractor to undergo and complete the following qualification testing: Electromagnetic interference/Electromagnetic compatibility, show, vibration, temperature, environmental, electrical testing and physical measuring. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency.

However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).

The controlled attachments will be posted at the same time the solicitation is posted. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR Part 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-25-Q-0552 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto.
