N00164-24-S-NB83 – REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) / Sources Sought - AVAILABILITY OF 6K CYLINDERS OF ULTRA HIGH PURITY, HIGH PRESSURE, COMPRESSED GASSES – FSC/PSC 6830 - NAICS 325120 ISSUE DATE 08 MAY 2024 – CLOSING DATE 10 MAY 2024 – 2:00 PM Eastern Time REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) The Government is issuing this RFI announcement in accordance with (IAW) FAR 15.201(b). The Government does not intend to award a contract based on this RFI.

The purpose of this RFI is to improve the understanding of industries capability to fulfil the government requirement. Although “proposal” and “quote” is used in the RFI, responses will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a quote or proposal. This RFI is issued for the purpose of Market Research as cited below.

Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for: ITEM 0001 – 161 each, K size bottles of Argon, Ultra High Purity (99.999% pure), pressurized to 6000 PSI ITEM 0002 - 245 each, K size bottles of Nitrogen, Ultra High Purity (99.999% pure), pressurized to 6000 PSI Required Delivery Date: 17 September 2024, FOB Destination, Camp Atterbury, Edinburgh, IN 46124-1096 The Government encourages all responsible sources to submit a capability statement, proposal, or quote, which shall be used as market research to determine the industries’ ability to meet the full amount and/or partial amounts of the government requirement. Responses to the RFI shall include the following:

This RFI / Sources Sought does not constitute an invitation for Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP), and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The US Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement.
