08 May 2024– Closing Date: 15 May 2024 – TIME EASTERN Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, (NSWC Crane) has a requirement for six (6) LAPS which provide cooling to critical sensor systems. These sensor systems provide mission essential Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting (ISR&T) capability. Deliverables shall meet the requirements of the NSWC Crane Division Statement of Work and Specifications.

Delivery will be FOB Destination NSWC Crane Division, Crane, Indiana 47522-5001 The proposed contract action is for the supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Meggitt Defense Systems Inc., 9801 Muirlands Boulevard, Irvine, CA 92618, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements).

The requirement is being solicited on a sole source basis because the development and sustainment of another source would result in excessive duplication of costs to the Government, and these costs would not be recouped through competition. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency.

However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of re-evaluating the justification for sole source or limitation of sources and making a determination to change the acquisition strategy to a competitive procurement.

The soliciatation and amendments for this sole source action will not be posted to SAM.gov and are available only from the POC identified below. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
