N00164-24-Q-0069 – SOLE SOURCE –G31C CELLS– FSC 6150- NAICS 334515 ISSUE DATE 28 DEC 2023 – CLOSING DATE 10 JAN 2024 – 12:00 AM Eastern Time ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for two hundred and thirty-one (231) G31C Cells, forty-six (46) G31C Batteries without BMS Interface, thirty-six (36) G31C Batteries with BMS interface, and one (1) Battery Management System Interface.

The proposed contract action is for the supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Aesir Technologies, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This is being sole sourced because significant work has been established with Aesir, and the G31C systems have been thoroughly integrated into the current program. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency.

However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).

This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR Part 13.5. FAR 6.3021(a)(2)(ii)(A) sole-sourcing procedures applies and Solicitation Number N00164-24-Q-0069 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto.
