Award Information: On 3/28/2025, the NAVSUP WSS CIWS/Radar Division (N7M2) awarded a $48,000,000, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award contract for the manufacture of the optical dome for the air intercept missile sidewinder. Awards were to two offerors, both Small Businesses, Surmet Corp.,* Burlington, Massachusetts (N0010425DAW01); and Synovix Inc.,* Huntsville, Alabama (N0010425DAX01).

Contracts will run concurrently and will include a five-year base ordering period with no options and ordering period will be completed by March 2030. Work will be primarily performed in the continental U.S. This requirement was solicited as a full and open competition with three offers received. Section L required the award to at least one small business in accordance with FAR 19.503 - Reserves, the Government met this requirement.
