FY24-FY28 MK46 Mod 2 Gun Weapon System Engineering Services Delivery Order

The Naval Sea Systems Commands intends to award a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) order to fulfill FY24-FY28 MK46 Mod 2 Gun Weapon System (GWS) engineering support requirements to General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS), Sterling Heights, MI without providing for full and open competition pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

GDLS is the only known source with the requisite knowledge and expertise of the MK46 Mod 2 GWS to satisfy the Government’s requirements within the required schedule. Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact GDLS directly. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capacity statement no later than the closing time of this notice.

Any submissions will not be reimbursed by the Government – the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the information. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
