Industry Invitation to Regional Maintenance Center Welding Summit

NAVSEA 05P Materials Division is pleased to invite you to attend our Welding Summit scheduled to be held 29-30 October, 2024 at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Carderock, West Bethesda, MD. The target audience for this meeting includes the government oversight, suppliers, and vendors performing welding (or allied processes) as part of the Navy’s Surface Ship repair industry.

The objective for this meeting is to give a forum to share experiences and lessons learned, especially as it relates to the implementation of MIL-STD-1689, NAVSEA Technical Publication S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248, and NAVSEA Technical Publication S9074-AR-GIB-010/278 standards and specifications, among others. While we desire for attendees to be present in person for the meeting, we understand that travel and other scheduling issues may make it impossible to achieve this goal.

For this reason, arrangements will be made to give an opportunity to those unable to attend in person a virtual presence.
