P-8A Engine Depot Maintenance and Repair IDIQ MAC Order N0001923F0226 Modification P00007

On 1 February 2024, Naval Air Systems Command Headquarters, 47123 Buse Road, Bldg 2272, Patuxent River, MD 20670 issued a $1,282,630 modification to P-8A Engine Depot Maintenance and Repair Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract (IDIQ MAC) N0001918D0110 Order N0001923F0226 on a sole source basis to Standard Aero Inc. of San Antonio, TX. The Order was issued to Standard Aero resulting from a fair opportunity competition among IDIQ MAC holders.

The modification not only exercises an option for minor repair but also the modification procures a material analysis on a cracked B1 flange discovered during Standard Aero’s repair of an engine and is issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract.
