P-8A Engine Depot Maintenance and Repair Solicitation

On 19 September 2024, as a result of full-and-open competitive solicitation N0001923R0094 for FY25-FY29 P-8A Poseidon Engine Depot Maintenance and Repair, the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded two Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contracts— N0001924D0115 to Standard Aero (San Antonio) Inc., San Antonio, TX for $626,803,494 inclusive of the Option to Extend Services and N0001924D0112 to AAR Government Services Inc., Wood Dale IL for 728,337,175 inclusive of the Option to Extend Services.

The ordering period for each contract expires after 30 September 2029 unless NAVAIR invokes the Option to Extend Services clause which would extend the ordering period up to an additional 6 months. These contracts provide depot-level engine maintenance, repair, overhaul and field assessment and repair in support of the P-8A Poseidon aircraft for the U.S. Navy, the Royal Australian Air Force, and Foreign Military Sales customers.

For AAR Government Services, Inc., work will be performed in Atlanta, Georgia (88%) and Wood Dale, Illinois (12%) and for Standard Aero Inc., work will be performed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada (99%) and San Antonio, Texas (1%). This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
