Facilities Engineering, and Warhead Planning Support of the Nuclear-Armed, Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) Program

The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Lockheed Martin Corporation (CAGE 7X6A9), of Titusville, FL, for facilities engineering, and warhead planning support of the Nuclear-armed, Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) Program. This acquisition is being pursued under the sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C.

3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. Primary work location is Titusville, FL. The anticipated period of performance is a one-year contract. SSP will publicize an award notice.

SSP estimates awarding this contract in September 2026, and the applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541330. The applicable Product Service Code is 1420 – Guided Missile Components and AC23 Missile & Space Systems – Advanced Development THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.

The proposed contract action is for services for which SSP intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302, however, SSP will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days of the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by SSP not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of SSP. SSP will normally consider information received as a result of the notice of intent solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
