Montana - GHMC Aerial Insecticide Application

THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR UPCOMING REQUEST FOR QUOTES (RFQs). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. INTERESTED CONTRACTORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THE CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY WEBSITE FOR THE SOLICITATION POSTING THAT PROVIDES ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR EACH RFQ POSTING.

OVERVIEW OF REQUIRMENT Aerial pesticide applications may be needed for The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine Services (PPQ) Grasshopper/Mormon Cricket Suppression Program in Montana. If treatment blocks are needed, a RFQ solicitation will be posted to the opportunity’s website. Insect counts, along with weather, moisture and temperature will determine when, where and if treatments are needed.

It is anticipated that Grasshopper/Mormon Cricket aerial application may be needed from mid-May through August. Please see the attached GHMC General Statement of Work which outlines the 2024 general requirements that apply to all Grasshopper/Mormon Cricket aerial application contracts. Each RFQ solicitation will also include site specific requirement details (maps and treatment blocks). Each RFQ will result in a one time FFP purchase order.

There may be multiple RFQ's posted for this presolicitation notice and for services required in Montana excluding the following MT Counties: Flathead, Sanders, Lake, Prairie, Custer, Garfiekd, Rosebud, Chouteau County. Please note that each RFQ will have its own RFQ number starting with (12639524QXXXX). The RFQ will no longer be posted under the attachments of the presolicitation notice but be posted as a separate solicitation posting under the designated RFQ number.
