This Sources Sought notice is issued for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals, offers, bids, and/or quotes. This is not an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, or confirmation that the Government will contract for the items contained in the announcement, nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied.
Responses to this notice will assist the government in identifying potential sources, in determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate, and in determining whether or not this approach to securing contracting support is practicable. Respondents are advised that the government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this notice. Responses to the notice will not be returned.

The Marine Corps Air Station New River North Carolina Command Religious Program (CRP) seeks qualified contractors to provide non-personal support services for a Contract Religious Service Provider (CRSP) as a Catholic Director of Religious Education (CDRE).
The CRSP will provide services necessary to support the Catholic Religious Education Program, and the missions and responsibilities of the CRP. TASKS. The CDRE will advise the Command Chaplain on Catholic religious education curriculum, leveraging contemporary approaches and an in-depth understanding of the most recent standards and best practices. The CRP provides more than 100 religious education classes annually, many of which are Catholic specific.
The CDRE will design, implement, and maintain a calendar of Catholic Religious Education events, including life skills workshops and seminars, to support the Catholic community’s religious requirements, while accommodating seasonal events. The CDRE’s schedule is flexible based on an annual calendar of activities and is estimated to be an approximal 28 hours per week of work with required presence every Sunday morning and at weekly staff meetings. QUALIFICATIONS.
Possess an Associate’s degree or higher or have 4 or more years of experience as a Catholic Director of Religious Education or as a Religious Educator. Have minimum 1 year experience working with children and young adults. Pursuant to SECNAV INSTRUCTION 1730.7 contractors may be required to be authorized to serve by the Religious Organization they represent.

INFORMATION REQUESTED. Specifically, MCI-East is seeking written responses (contractor format is acceptable) to the following strategic sourcing and company specific questions (telephone calls will not be accepted):
1. Company name, address, point of contact (POC) with name, phone number, and email address, and company website if available.
2. Cage Code and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) registered in the Systems for Award Management (https://www.sam.gov).
3. Business Size under NAICS code 813110. If the size standard is small, indicate if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act, HUBZone certified, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business or Small Business.
4. Is your business able to support this requirement in the eastern North Carolina area? Provide a Capability Statement. Convey the services that your company offers, its qualifications and accomplishments. If these services have been acquired by any government agencies please provide names of agencies, POCs, and contract numbers.
