Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) Weapons Data Link (WDL) Small Form Factor Weapons Attritable Radio Multi-Mode (SWARMM) Family 1 (SF1)

The Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), in support of the Tactical Data Link (TDL) Program Office (PMW-530) (formerly Multifunctional Information Distribution (MIDS) Program Office (MPO) (PMA/W-101)), intends to process a ceiling increase modification to MIDS Weapons Data Link (WDL) Small Form Factor Weapons Attritable Radio Multi-Mode (SWARMM) Family 1 (SF1) contract N0003923D4000 with L3 Telemetry and Radio Frequency (L3 T and RF) for the continued development of National Security Agency (NSA) certified radios.

The authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Responses to this notice of intent to issue an RFP to L3 T and RF should be submitted no later than five (5) calendar days from the date of this synopsis to Lindsay Nickel, Contracting Officer for NAVWAR via email at lindsay.t.nickel.civ@us.navy.mil.
