W912CH24R0025 - Amendment 0002, RFP Conformed Solicitation, and Attachment 0010 have been included. ACC-DTA issues this solicitation for award of a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based production contract for the M870A4 Semitrailer, Lowbed, Construction Equipment Transporter (SLCET), 40 Ton, a low-bed semitrailer with a rated payload of 40 tons (80,000 lbs./36290 kg).
The trailer can transport a variety of Engineering Construction Equipment (ECE), tracked and wheeled vehicles and other payloads weighing up to 40 tons. The M870A4 SCLET is employed for tactical use on primary roads, secondary roads, improved trails, and trails and can operate under worldwide climatic conditions in a military environment.
It satisfies the applicable standards of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR). The M870A4 SLCET is transportable by highway, rail, marine and air modes worldwide. This action is solicited as a 100% Small Business set-aside.
It will result in a single five-year with two option year Fixed Price (FP) with Economic Price Adjustment (EPA), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for five one-year ordering periods and two one-year optional ordering periods, a total of seven Ordering Years (OYs). The guaranteed minimum quantity is 10 and the maximum is 840 EA to capitalize on the small business maximum production rate to account for any projected increases during the contract period of performance.
