Notice of Intent to Sole Source - PAPI System Parts

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Marine Corps Field Contracting System, Marine Corps Installations East, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Allen Enterprises Inc, 35659 Commerce Dr., Ste. 100, Orlando, Florida 32839-2964, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) only one source reasonably available as the original equipment manufacturer. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

This requirement is to provide OEM approved Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) parts to be used for repair and preventative maintenance on the ADB Safegate equipment currently installed aboard the installation. These components are exclusive to ADB Safegate and are not interchangeable with parts from other manufacturers. Allen Enterprises, Inc. is the exclusive representative for ADB Safegate and the sole provider for all ADB Safegate parts in the Southeastern United States.

These services are in support of Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, Beaufort, SC 29904. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 335931, Current Carrying Wiring Device Manufacturing, with a size standard of 600 employees. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
