BECSys5 and BECSys7 Controllers

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Marine Corps Field Contracting System, Marine Corps Installations East, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Duffield Aquatics dba Commercial Energy Specialists, LLC, 952 Jupiter Park Ln Ste 1, Jupiter, FL 33458 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) only one source reasonably available. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. This request is for the purchase of one (1 ea.) BECSys5 Water Chemistry Controller (Part Number XS1GP1OPBX) and one (1 ea.) BECSys7c Equipment Room Controller (Part Number XSIGPIXOXPBF) manufactured by BECS Technology.

The controllers will be used to provide continuous monitoring and control of sanitizers, oxidizers, pH levels, and total system flow rates of the chemicals administered to the pools aboard the base.
