Intent to Sole Source MHTV Wrecker Maintenance Training

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Marine Corps Installation East intends to procure a service to provide formal training to personnel medium/heavy tactical vehicle (MHTV) wrecker diagnostic and maintenance training outlined below, on a sole source basis from Oshkosh Defense LLC in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-(b)(1)(i), for purchase not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold and only one source reasonable available.

The NAICS code for this procurement is 611519 with $21,000.00 size standard. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued: however, any small-business firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the contracting officer in the form of a capability statement.

Supporting evidence in sufficient detail that demonstrates the ability to comply with the requirement listed must be furnished to the point of contact listed below by Friday 19 January 2024 at 11.00am EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on response to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Marine Corps Installation East will not reimburse for any costs connected with supplying sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed. To receive the Government award, a firm must be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov). Firms must register on a one-time basis, and annually confirm accuracy and completeness of registration information.
