MCRDPI Mascot Bulldog Puppy

Sources Sought ONLY, this is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract/purchase order.  The purpose of this Sources Sought is to seek out interested Small Businesses capable of fulfilling this requirement for a new USMC Mascot aboard Marine Corps recruit Depot Parris Island, SC.

MCRDPI is performing market research to determine available sources that can provide one (1) Purebred English Bulldog puppy.    

Description:

The contractor shall deliver one English Bulldog puppy:  

• Purebred English Bulldog, registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC).
• Sex: Female.
• Age: Between 8 and 16 weeks old at the time of delivery (December 1-15, 2026).
• Color: White with brown markings.
• Temperament: shall be of sound and stable temperament
• Genetic Suitability:  the puppy must come from lineage with genetic tolerance to the heat and humidity in Parris Island, South Carolina. 

Interested Vendors shall provide the following information to the POC:

1. Cage Code/ Unique Identity Code. 
2. Socio Economic Status (i.e., HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business).
3. Breeders Capability Statement providing all requirements stated in PWS.

All Sources Sought responses shall be received by 11:00AM (EST) on 01 October 2026.
