Intent to Sole Source - Ancillary Services (Furniture, Carpet and Carpet Padding Rental, Accessories, Material Handling, and Cleaning) at the National Future Farmers of America (NFFA) 2026 Convention & Expo

The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Knox, 199 6th Avenue, Suite 250, Fort Knox, KY, 40121, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to WCP/Fern Exposition Services, LLC. doing business as FERN (UEI:

NBLRXSNYZPF8 I CAGE Code: 4E6D9), located at 645 Linn St, Cincinnati, OH 45203-1722. The procurement is to provide ancillary services to include furniture, carpet and carpet padding rental, cleaning, accessories, and material handling at the National Future Farmers of America (NFFA) 2026 Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana. The U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) requires chairs, tables/risers, carpet, accessories, draping, cleaning services, material handling, cartload services, and accessible storage.

This action is being conducted under FAR Part 12 (DFARS CD 2026-000028), Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is simplified acquisition procedures for commercial products and commercial services, Title 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR 12.102(a) (DFARS CD 2026-00028), as only one source is available valued at or below the simplified acquisition threshold.

This is not a request for competitive offers, quotes, or capability statements. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This notice complies with FAR 5.101 (DFARS CD 2026-00003), Methods of disseminating information. However, interested parties may submit capability statements demonstrating their ability to meet this requirement within the required timeframe. All capability statements must be received no later than 28 September 2026, at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.

Submitted capability statements shall include sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the requirement, including relevant experience, pricing information (if available), and supporting documentation.
