*Update 1 (11 March 2026): The location of this event has been changed to The Rocker Club Ballroom 3, Kadena AB, Okinawa*
The 18th Contracting Squadron cordially invites you to our upcoming Kadena Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) Industry Day. This event is a prime opportunity for our industry partners to gain valuable insights into significant upcoming projects and pivotal regulatory updates. This event is intended for current MACC contract awardees (FA527025D0024 - FA527025D0037, FA527025D0041), as well as any current or interested subcontractors on the MACC contract.
Date: 19 March 2026
Time: 0830 - 1030
Location: The Rocker Club Ballroom 3, Kadena AB, Okinawa
Agenda Highlights:
This Industry Day will provide a detailed forecast of our procurement needs for the upcoming fiscal year. Prepare to engage with comprehensive briefings on the following high-value portfolios:
- 718th dFSRM Portfolio
- Military Family Housing Portfolio
- US Army Garrison Torii Station Portfolio
Beyond these project-specific briefings, we will also be providing crucial updates on two of the most significant changes impacting the Okinawa MACC:
- The Latest on CMMC 2.0 Implementation: The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 is a mandatory framework designed to protect Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) within the DoD supply chain.
- Revolutionary FAR Overhaul: The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is undergoing a significant overhaul to streamline the procurement process. This initiative aims to make the FAR easier to understand and use, which will impact how you bid on and manage federal contracts. We will discuss the key changes and how they will affect your interactions with the federal government.
Throughout the event you will be provided with the opportunity to ask questions and obtain clarification on the topics presented.
Please confirm your attendance for this event with Kurt Stuebs via email at kurt.stuebs.2@us.af.mil no later than Friday, 13 March 2026, at 4:00 PM JST. Please indicate if you have personnel who will need a base pass to have access and be escorted to the event.
Mark your calendars for this essential event. We look forward to seeing you there and fostering a stronger partnership for the future!
