The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, needs renovations to Building 3 at the Puerto Rico Department of Agriculture (PRDA) complex, near Dorado in north-central Puerto Rico. Building 3 is approximately 8,000 GSF and consists of two wings, one for administration offices and one for the laboratories. The Lab Wing was constructed in 1993 to replace a smaller, original wing. The NAICS code for this project is 236220—Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $45 million. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $5 million and $10 million. The project will be set aside for small business concerns only. The solicitation will be posted on or about mid-August 2024. It is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor this site for the solicitation and amendments, if any.
