Notice of Intent to Award –Blanket Purchase Agreement for Bread and Bakery Products In accordance with FAR 13.303-2(c)(2), the Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Gallup Service Unit in Gallup, New Mexico, intends to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to K&B CO INC for bread and bakery products on an as-needed basis.

Items include whole wheat and white sliced sandwich bread, dinner rolls, hard rolls, thick sliced cottage French bread, hamburger buns, hotdog buns, individual pies, mini donut gems (chocolate, coconut, powdered sugar, etc.), vanilla crème snack cakes, raspberry delight snack cakes, cherry turnovers, apple turnovers, pumpkin pies, plain bagels, blueberry bagels, and cinnamon raisin bagels. The anticipated period of performance is a base period of one year from the date of award with four option years.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 311812- Commercial Bakeries with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. No further awards will be made unless the need for Gallup Indian Medical Center changes. The prospective BPA as identified in this notice is sufficient at this time.

Any other sources that believe they are capable of fulfilling the government requirements as described are encouraged to submit their capability statement, price lists, and catalogs to the Point of Contact listed below via email only and no later than 3/18/2024 at 10:00 AM (MDT). In the event additional BPAs are deemed to be in the best interest of the government, capable vendors may be contacted. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent.
