Notice of Intent to Single Source - Kitchen Exhaust System Cleaning

The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Gallup Service Unit in Gallup, NM intends to negotiate a single source award with Blastmasters INC for kitchen exhaust system cleaning services involving manual scraping, degreasing, and pressure washing in accordance with all pertinent regulations and guidelines. The projected period of performance is:

Base period:

3/1/2024-2/28/2025 Option Period One:

3/1/2025-2/28/2026 Option Period Two:

3/1/2026-2/28/2027 Option Period Three:

3/1/2027-2/28/2028 Option Period Four: 3/1/2028-2/29/2029 The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 561790- Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings with a Small Business Administration size standard of $9.0 million.

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. This Notice of Intent to Single Source is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with this Notice of Intent.

Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated services may provide a capability statement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice shall be submitted no later than 10:00 AM (MST) on 2/26/2024 via email to Rodney.Brown@ihs.gov. A determination by the Government on whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
