Sources Sought: IHS1532109 – CRNA Services – Turtle Mountain Service Unit, Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Healthcare Facility, Belcourt, ND The Indian Health Service (IHS) seeks capability information from Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs), Indian Economic Enterprises (IEEs), small businesses, and other responsible sources for up to two qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) at Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Healthcare Facility, Belcourt, North Dakota 58316. Services include inpatient, outpatient, and emergency anesthesia care for patients of all ages within approved scope and facility-granted privileges.

Anticipated assignments are fourteen-day blocks, staffed by one CRNA for fourteen days or two CRNAs for seven days each, with usual weekday clinical hours of 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. and scheduled night, weekend, and Federal holiday on-call and call-back coverage. Assignment frequency and coverage between blocks remain under development. Respondents should recommend feasible schedules and identify whether their approach covers assigned blocks only or continuous coverage.

IHS anticipates a firm-fixed-price contract for commercial, non-personal healthcare services, priced by Month (MO), including defined clinical and call coverage and associated contractor costs. The tentative start date is February 1, 2027, with a six-month base period and four six-month option periods. Dates and final requirements are subject to change. Services may begin only after award and required onboarding, credentialing, and privileging.

The anticipated NAICS code is 621399 – Offices of All Other Miscellaneous Health Practitioners, with a small business size standard of $10 million in average annual receipts, subject to Contracting Officer confirmation. Respondents may recommend alternatives with supporting rationale. Responses will inform acquisition planning, including consideration of a Buy Indian Act set-aside under 25 U.S.C. 47 and applicable HHSAR requirements. No set-aside determination is announced.
