Intent to Limit Sole-Source - 3M Health Information System, Inc. - Crownpoint Healthcare Facility

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Crownpoint Healthcare Facility in Crownpoint, New Mexico, intends to award a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to 3M Health Information Systems, Inc. for medical coding software licenses as required by the Crownpoint Healthcare Facility Health Information Management Department located in Crownpoint, New Mexico.

The period of performance will be 1 year from August 11, 2024 to August 10, 2025. The award will be a sole source procurement awarded to, 3M Health Information Systems Inc., in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(A), for Orders or BPAs exceeding the micro-purchase threshold based on a limited sources justification for circumstances justifying limiting the source, for a proposed order exceeding the micro-purchase threshold not placed or established in accordance with the procedures in 8.405-2 or 8.405-3, justified as an urgent and compelling need exist, and following the procedures would result in unacceptable delays.

This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any potential sources other than 3M Health Information Systems, Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Mr. Marshall L. Arviso, Contract Specialist, at marshall.arviso@ihs.gov by 1:00 PM MT on Friday, August 9, 2024. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
