Intent to Limit Sole-Source - Sysmex America, Inc - Crownpoint Healthcare Facility

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Crownpoint Healthcare Facility in Crownpoint, New Mexico, intends to award a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to Sysmex America, Inc. for a reagent rental agreement utilizing a Sysmex XN-1000-BPR with XN-450 Wagon, as required by the Crownpoint Healthcare Facility Laboratory Department. The period of performance will be for one (1) year.

The award will be a sole source procurement awarded to Sysmex America, Inc. in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), for orders exceeding the micro-purchase threshold based on a limited sources justification for circumstances justifying limiting the source, for a proposed order exceeding the micro-purchase threshold not placed or established in accordance with the procedures in 8.405-2 or 8.405-3 and justified as an only one source is found capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized.

This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any potential sources other than Sysmex America, Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Mr. Marshall L. Arviso, Contract Specialist, at marshall.arviso@ihs.gov by 2:00 PM MDLT on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to complete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued
