Notice of Intent - BPA for the Kayenta Health Center (KHC)

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Kayenta Health Center (KHC) located in Kayenta, Arizona, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) awards to Gallup Lumber & Supply; UEI Number L5S6AMCTNJV3 and Border States Industries, Inc.; UEI Number HJQ5LLPXHJE8, for various supplies inclusive of miscellaneous building painting supplies, plumbing supplies, lumber material, electrical supplies, disposable tools/PPE, and hardware on an “as needed basis” as required by the Facilities Management Department. The award will be formatted as a base year plus two option years:

08/07/2024 – 08/06/2025 Option Year 1:

08/07/2025 – 08/06/2026 Option Year 2: 08/07/2026 – 08/06/2027 In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), Gallup Lumber & Supply is uniquely qualified to provide the required supplies for various repairs of the facility, to maintain the clinics to avoid any discrepancies that could have a negative impact on direct patient care. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers.

Any potential sources other than Gallup Lumber Supply may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Jerlyn Begay, Supervisory Contract Specialist, at jerlyn.begay@ihs.gov by 1:00 PM EST on Monday, 08/05/2024. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
